About the Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Videographer cum Video Editor to join the Kadhaishorts team. The candidate will be responsible for shooting and editing engaging content for our Vertical Cinema projects, YouTube videos, and Instagram content.
The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, a creative visual sense, and hands-on experience in both video production and post-production.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle video shoots for Vertical Cinema content, behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, and promotional shoots.
- Shoot and edit content for YouTube and Instagram platforms.
- Edit reels, shorts, trailers, teasers, and social media promotional videos.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to execute content ideas.
- Ensure high-quality visuals, sound, transitions, and overall video output.
- Manage lighting, camera setup, framing, and audio during shoots.
- Create platform-specific edits optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube videos.
- Maintain organized project files and meet content deadlines consistently.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, transitions, and social media content styles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in videography and video editing.
- Good knowledge of camera handling, lighting, and composition.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Experience in editing vertical format content is preferred.
- Strong understanding of YouTube and Instagram content trends.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic motion graphics and color grading knowledge will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cinematic storytelling and short-form content creation.
- Knowledge of sound design and pacing for engaging edits.
- Ability to independently plan and execute shoots.
