Role Overview

We're looking for a highly creative part-time video editor who understands beauty/skincare content and can create high-performing short-form videos for social media and ads.

The ideal candidate should understand pacing, hooks, retention editing, trending formats, and aesthetically premium skincare visuals.

Scope of WorkContent Editing

• Edit short-form videos for:
• Instagram Reels
• Meta ads
• LinkedIn/company content when required
• Create:
• UGC-style edits
• Founder-led talking videos
• Product showcase videos
• Trend-based edits
• Before/after style edits
• Motion graphic-based skincare content

Editing Style Requirements

• Strong understanding of:
• Fast-paced retention editing
• Viral hooks
• Smooth transitions
• Text overlays/captions
• Sound design
• Beauty/skincare aesthetics
• Clean luxury visual language
• Ability to match references and trends quickly

Responsibilities

• Cut raw footage into polished videos
• Add captions, transitions, music, graphics, and motion elements
• Source royalty-free music/SFX where needed
• Maintain brand consistency across content
• Deliver revisions quickly
• Organize project files and exports properly

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• CapCut (preferred)
• DaVinci Resolve (optional)
• Bonus if candidate:
• Understands D2C/skincare brands
• Has worked on performance marketing creatives
• Understands Meta ad creative structure
• Can independently suggest hooks/editing improvements
