Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle all on-site filming, lighting, and audio setup using our dedicated mobile production kit.
  • Edit high-energy, social-first videos (Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn Video) with a focus on hooks, fast cuts, and engaging captions.
  • Execute topical content (newsjacking or trends) within a less than 24-hour window.
  • Maintain our internal library of raw footage and b-roll to ensure we never have to rely on external departments for assets.
  • Ensuring all video output feels premium, polished, and aligned with the brand's visual identity.
  • Ideate new concepts and formats for a diverse audience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in video production or video editing at a high-growth startup/agency.
  • A proven track record of creating short-form vertical video that actually moves (high retention and shares).
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects, etc.
  • Deep understanding of Retention Editing, knowing exactly when to zoom, cut, or add a sound effect to keep a viewer from scrolling.
  • Proficiency in Sound Design. You understand that bad audio kills a good video faster than bad lighting.
  • A deep understanding of mobile cinematography, making an iPhone look like a cinema camera.
  • Highly organized, comfortable with project management tools, and have a zero-missed-deadlines philosophy.
