Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Gurugram. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing short-form and long-form videos for social media, branded content, and campaigns, ensuring a strong narrative and platform-fit output. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, trimming and sequencing clips, and adding effects, transitions, motion graphics, and sound design as needed. The role involves collaborating closely with creative strategists, copywriters, producers, and designers to translate briefs into high-impact video concepts aligned with culture and trends. The Video Editor will also perform color correction and grading, optimize videos for different platforms and formats, manage media assets, and maintain organized project files to support a fast-paced production pipeline.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, pacing, storytelling, and sound synchronization.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency, enhance mood, and align with brand aesthetics.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations for social-first content.
• Ability to work with social media formats (Reels, Shorts, stories, feed posts) and adapt content to multiple platforms and aspect ratios.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple projects running in parallel.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic familiarity with After Effects or similar tools.
• Strong visual storytelling sense, understanding of internet culture, memes, and trend-driven content.
• Attention to detail, organized file and asset management, and ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
• Relevant education in film, media, design, or equivalent practical experience; a showreel demonstrating video editing and motion work is required.
