Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Video Editor to craft long-form wedding feature films and short films from luxury wedding assignments. This is a backend editing role based out of our Gurugram office. The role focuses on building strong emotional narratives, pacing, and structure not just assembling footage.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit wedding feature films, highlights, and teasers from raw footage.
- Build narrative arcs using real dialogue, ambient sound, music, and visual rhythm.
- Shape long timelines into emotionally engaging films.
- Collaborate closely with filmmakers and creative leads.
- Maintain structured project workflows and organised file systems.
- Incorporate feedback and refine edits within defined delivery timelines.
- Ensure final outputs align with Twogether's aesthetic and storytelling standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional editing experience in wedding films, documentaries, or narrative-driven formats.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent professional editing software).
- Strong understanding of pacing, emotional storytelling, and music-driven edits.
- Experience handling long-form edits (1530 minute films).
- Ability to work full-time from the office in Gurugram.
- Has worked with a Tier A wedding studio or on premium wedding films.
- Possesses a documentary or journalistic editing sensibility.
- Thinks in narrative structure rather than templates.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable receiving structured creative feedback.
