About the Role

LOUDLABS is looking for a dedicated and creative Video Editor to join our team and work closely with our sports-focused content division.

The role requires an editor who can take ownership of video content across multiple digital properties, creating engaging, fast-paced, and platform-friendly content for social media and digital platforms.

If you're passionate about football, sports, storytelling, and digital content, this is an opportunity to work on high-volume, exciting content and be part of a fast-moving creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of video editing requirements across assigned digital properties.
• Edit Reels, Shorts, matchday content, highlights, interviews, player features, behind-the-scenes videos, and other digital content.
• Transform raw footage into engaging and compelling stories through strong pacing, transitions, music, sound design, and visual effects.
• Create content that is optimised for Instagram, YouTube, X, and other digital platforms.
• Edit both real-time and pre-planned content, including fast-turnaround requirements.
• Work on sports-focused content such as match moments, goals, celebrations, player interactions, training sessions, fan moments, and interviews.
• Add subtitles, motion graphics, text animations, transitions, effects, and other elements as required.
• Collaborate closely with the social media, content, graphic design, and project teams.
• Understand briefs and translate creative concepts into high-quality video content.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, tone, and brand identity across different digital properties.
• Manage multiple edits and deliverables while meeting strict deadlines.
• Be available for matchday, weekend, and extended-hour requirements when necessary.
• Stay updated with current editing trends, social media formats, transitions, music, and content styles.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Prior experience in sports, football, entertainment, media, advertising, or digital content is preferred.
• Strong interest and understanding of football and sports culture.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or other editing/design tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, sound design, music, transitions, and visual composition.
• Experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Ability to work on fast-turnaround content without compromising quality.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work effectively under pressure.
• A strong portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
