Job Description

We're searching for a dynamic Video Editor who thrives on creating thumb-stopping short-form content. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of visual rhythm, storytelling, and editing style that aligns with the fast-moving world of digital content. You'll work closely with our creative, design, and marketing teams to produce high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media campaigns that engage audiences and elevate brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
  • Bring raw footage to life through creative storytelling, transitions, effects, and motion graphics.
  • Collaborate with content strategists, copywriters, and designers to ensure cohesive and on-brand storytelling.
  • Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance emotion and engagement.
  • Maintain brand tone and consistency across multiple projects and clients.
  • Optimise videos for various formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios suited for each social media platform.
  • Work on both organic and paid campaign videos, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Stay updated with current video trends, transitions, and meme culture relevant to social media.
  • Deliver projects under tight timelines while maintaining quality and creativity.
  • Archive, manage, and maintain media assets in an organised manner for easy access and reuse.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a digital marketing or creative agency setup.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing Reels, Shorts, TikTok, or branded short-form content.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent editing tools.
  • Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt editing style to fit different brand voices and campaign objectives.
  • Knowledge of colour correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and deliver under deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Experience with scripted shoots, behind-the-scenes edits, or product showcase videos is a plus.
