Role Overview

We are looking for a video editor who is experienced in both short-form and long-form content and has actively worked with AI tools in their workflow.

This role involves editing podcasts, creating short-form content (Reels/Shorts), and contributing to how content is produced and scaled using AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn)
• Edit long-form podcast episodes and create high-quality clips
• Clean and structure podcast audio and video for clarity and engagement
• Create content using strong hooks, pacing, captions, and retention-focused editing
• Use AI tools to improve workflows, generate content, or enhance production
• Contribute to content ideas and formats based on trends and performance
• Work closely with the team to ensure consistent output

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of video editing experience
• Strong experience in short-form content editing
• Experience editing podcasts or long-form conversational content
• Proficiency in tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Strong understanding of content performance on platforms like Instagram and YouTube
• Proven experience using AI tools in your editing or content workflow
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team

Important Requirement (AI Experience)

You must have actively used AI tools in your workflow. This includes tools such as:

• Runway, Pika, Descript, Captions, OpusClip, ElevenLabs, or similar
• Experience with tools like Seedance, Xfield, or other emerging AI video tools is a strong advantage

This role is not suitable for candidates who are only beginning to explore AI.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Riverside for podcast recording/editing workflows
• Basic motion graphics or animation skills
• Experience working with creators, founders, or startup teams

Compensation

Compensation will be aligned with industry standards, based on experience and skill level.
