Job Description :
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing, enhancing, and producing video content for Jesus Calls ministry programs, promotional campaigns, social media, and digital platforms. The role requires strong creative and technical skills, along with the ability to edit content in multiple languages (Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada) to reach a wide audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Production
- Edit raw footage into compelling final output for TV, YouTube, social media, and internal communication.
- Add subtitles, graphics, effects, transitions, and animations as needed.
- Synchronize voice-overs, background scores, and multilingual content.
- Maintain brand consistency and storytelling style across all platforms.
Multilingual Content Management
- Edit and deliver video content in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
- Incorporate region-specific visuals, captions, and cultural nuances.
- Work closely with translators and dubbing teams to ensure accuracy.
Creative Direction
- Collaborate with producers, media team, and ministry leaders to develop engaging concepts.
- Enhance storytelling with innovative editing techniques.
- Contribute ideas for improving visual communication and audience engagement.
Technical & Quality Control
- Ensure all outputs meet broadcast and digital quality standards.
- Manage file formats, compression, and resolutions for different platforms.
- Maintain organized video libraries and backup systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Media, Communication, Film Editing, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in professional video editing.
- Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects.
- Knowledge of sound editing, color grading, and motion graphics.
- Ability to edit and understand content in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada (spoken & written proficiency is a strong advantage).
- Strong storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Familiarity with ministry-related/faith-based content preferred.
