Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor who excels in VFX, motion graphics, and Adobe After Effects to create engaging educational and marketing content. You'll work closely with our creative, marketing, and academic teams to produce stunning video content for Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use After Effects and VFX techniques to create high-quality animations, transitions, and visual enhancements.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for educational courses, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Work with raw footage, voiceovers, and design assets to produce polished video outputs.
- Work closely with the content team to understand the video requirements and provide creative input.
- Add sound effects, background scores, graphics, and special effects to enhance video content.
- Optimize videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and mobile devices.
- Ensure consistency in style, branding, and tone across all video content.
- Stay up-to-date with new editing technologies and industry trends to continuously improve video quality.
- Manage and organize video files and archives for easy accessibility.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, animators, and content creators to develop innovative video ideas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 13 years of hands-on experience in professional video editing.
- Strong command of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro and basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Proven expertise in VFX, transitions, motion graphics, and post-production techniques.
- Strong storytelling skills and creativity with an eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A solid portfolio showcasing your editing and visual effects skills.
