About Totalis: Totalis is a media company and creative agency producing original content and building brands for partners. We work across long-form YouTube, short-form social, podcasts, and brand-led films.
What you'll do
- Assist in editing long-form and short-form videos for our YouTube channel, social handles, and client deliverables
- Learn to build strong storytelling arcs: pacing, structure, comedic timing, and emotional beats
- Support color correction, audio enhancement, subtitles/captions, and basic sound design polish
- Collaborate with producers and creative leads to interpret briefs, references, and feedback
- Help manage versions efficiently (V1/V2, cutdowns, platform-specific exports)
- Assist with podcast edits (multi-cam, jump cuts, b-roll, inserts) and reel cutdowns
Must-have
- Some hands-on editing experience — coursework, personal projects, college content, or freelance work all count
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro (After Effects knowledge is a bonus)
- Good eye for detail: timing, rhythm, typography, and captioning
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and work under tight turnarounds
- 2–3 portfolio samples or personal projects (college edits, reels, YouTube clips welcome)
