About the Role

Are you a wizard with a timeline Do you know exactly where to cut to keep an audience hooked At Start2Skill, we are looking for a creative Video Editing Intern to help us polish our educational content and dominate social media feeds.

Your primary mission will be twofold: ensuring our free course content is professional and seamless, and transforming that long-form footage into high-energy, viral-ready short-form content.

Key Responsibilities

• *Course Polishing*: Edit long-form educational videos, removing filler words, adding transitions, and ensuring clear audio/visual flow.

• *Social Media Growth*: Identify gold nugget moments from courses to create engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.

• *Engagement-First Editing*: Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and B-roll to keep retention high.

• *Brand Consistency*: Maintain the Start2Skill visual identity across all platforms.

• *Collaboration*: Work closely with the content team to brainstorm new hooks and storytelling formats.

What We're Looking For

• *Software Proficiency*: Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. (Mobile editors like CapCut are great for Reels, but pro desktop software skills are a plus!)

• *The Social Eye*: You understand current social media trends, pacing, and what makes someone stop scrolling.

• *Attention to Detail*: You catch the small glitches that others miss.

• *Time Management*: Ability to manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.

• *Portfolio*: A link to your previous work (Reels or YouTube edits) is a must!
