We are expanding our marketing function and looking for a creative video editor to support short-form and performance-driven content.Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor who understands short-form, platform-first content and can create engaging videos for social media and marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the marketing team to edit videos that support brand storytelling, paid ads, and organic growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on execution, learning fast, and contributing to a growing marketing setup.
Key Responsibilities
Short-Form & Social Video Editing
- Edit short-form videos such as Reels, Shorts, and ads with a focus on attention, retention, and clarity
- Create multiple edit variations to test hooks, pacing, and formats
- Optimize videos for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency
Performance Creative Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team on paid and organic video content
- Make edits based on performance metrics such as watch time, retention, and CTR
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and campaign requirements
Brand & Product Storytelling
- Edit videos highlighting product features, use cases, and brand narratives
- Maintain a clean, premium, and consistent visual style
Content & Trend Research
- Track editing styles, transitions, music trends, and emerging formats
- Study competitors and creators to bring relevant ideas
AI-Assisted Editing
- Experiment with AI tools for subtitles, enhancements, and faster workflows
- Continuously improve editing efficiency using new tools and techniques
Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals (cuts, pacing, transitions, sound, storytelling)
- Good knowledge of short-form, platform-specific video formats
- Ability to convert raw footage into engaging visual content
- Clear communication skills and openness to feedback
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, typography, and overlays
- Understanding of color correction, music selection, and sound balancing
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools
