• Rewatches your own edits to improve transitions
• Studies YouTube creators frame-by-frame
• Notices bad pacing instantly
• Wants to work harder than the next person

You'll fit right in.

What You'll Actually Do

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (educational, deep-dive style)
• Edit short-form content (Instagram Reels / Shorts)
• Work directly with the creator to bring ideas to life
• Help improve storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention
• Suggest creative improvements not just execute instructions
• Manage raw footage, assets, sound design, and motion elements
• Optimize videos for performance (retention, watch time, engagement)

This is not a wait for instructions role.

This is a co-creator role.

Skills That Help (But Can Be Learned)

• Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve
• Basic motion graphics (After Effects is a plus)
• Understanding of YouTube pacing & retention
• Clean audio editing
• Thumbnail sense is a bonus
• Basic understanding of tech/gaming is a plus
