Role OverviewWe're looking for a Video Editor Intern who can help us edit engaging videos and create basic motion graphics for social media and marketing needs. This is a remote, part-time internship (4 hours/day) and is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience working on real brand content.
Key Responsibilities- Edit short-form and long-form content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
- Create clean, engaging edits: trims, pacing, transitions, and basic storytelling flow
- Add captions, subtitles, titles, lower-thirds, and basic design elements
- Support motion graphics needs (animated text, icons, simple compositions)
- Collaborate with the team on creative direction and feedback iterations
- Maintain organized project files and export videos in required formats
Skills Required (Must-Have)- Adobe Premiere Pro (timeline editing, audio sync, exports)
- Adobe After Effects (basic animation, text/shape layers, using templates)
- Motion Graphics Fundamentals (timing, easing, typography basics, composition)
- Basic understanding of AI tools (AI captions, editing assistance, cleanup/enhancement tools)
Good to Have (Bonus Skills)- Strong sense of visual storytelling and social-media-first editing
- Basic color correction and audio cleanup
- Familiarity with Reels/Shorts editing trends and formatting
- Ability to work with brand guidelines and edit consistency
