Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate video editor who understands:
- Startup ecosystem
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Storytelling psychology
This is not just an editing job. You will help shape how India consumes startup content.
Key Responsibilities
Reel & Short-form Editing
- Edit Instagram reels & YouTube shorts
- Create strong 35 second hooks
- Add engaging subtitles
- Improve retention through cuts & pacing
- Use B-roll smartly for storytelling
- Make content visually dynamic
YouTube Long-form Editing
- Edit full-length startup case study videos
- Structure videos for high watch time
- Add motion graphics & animations
- Add charts, funding graphics, stats overlays
- Improve storytelling through pacing
- Work on a retention strategy
Teaser & B-roll Content
- Create teaser videos from long content
- Add high-energy transitions
- Design intro/outro sequences
- Use cinematic storytelling elements
- Maintain consistent brand tone
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with content & research team
- Suggest editing improvements
- Improve the visual storytelling format
- Bring new creative ideas
- Help experiment with new video formats
Required Skills
- Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory)
- After Effects (Basic to Intermediate)
- Understanding of motion graphics
- Basic color correction
- Sound design basics
- Subtitle formatting & typography
