Role Description

iLEAD Kolkata is looking for a full-time Video Editor who understands how to edit for attention, retention, and platform-native storytelling.

This role is for someone who is creatively sharp and technically strong, with solid experience in editing social media reels, digital promos, event videos, student-led content, and campaign-driven short-form videos.

The ideal candidate should be confident using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut, and should also have a good understanding of AI tools that can support video editing, workflow efficiency, enhancement, and content production.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid work structure. The editor will not be required to be in office every day. Physical presence will be required on selected working days for coordination, shoots, reviews, or project needs, while the remaining work can be managed remotely. The exact structure can be discussed during the hiring process.

• Edit high-quality social media reels and short-form videos for digital platforms
• Work on content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, campaigns, events, and promotional communication
• Use Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut effectively based on project needs
• Add text animation, motion elements, sound design, and finishing polish where required
• Understand platform behavior and edit with strong focus on hook, pacing, retention, and visual engagement
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to execute content in line with brand and campaign needs
• Use relevant AI tools to improve editing workflows, subtitles, clean-up, ideation, enhancement, and productivity
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and turnaround timelines
