Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, structuring narratives, and editing video content for various formats, including social media, long-form content, and promotional material. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, applying color corrections, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements. The role also involves collaborating with directors and producers to interpret creative briefs, maintaining brand consistency, managing project files, and delivering content to agreed timelines. The Video Editor is expected to provide creative input on shot selection, pacing, and overall storytelling to elevate each project.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage, timelines, and exporting for multiple platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple visual elements that support storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and familiarity with color grading and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, DaVinci Resolve) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and readiness to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment in Mumbai.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, along with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video work, will be advantageous.
