Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing videos for music releases and promotional content, and ensuring smooth narrative flow and pacing. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with directors, producers, and the creative team, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and preparing final files for various platforms such as YouTube and digital streaming services. The role also involves maintaining brand consistency across all visual content, organizing media assets, and meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for music videos, promos, and social media content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual tone, mood, and overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, lower thirds, animations, and visual effects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in music or entertainment industry post-production is an advantage.
