Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor based in Gurugram. The Video Editor will be responsible for creating and editing video content, with a primary focus on generating long-form content such as reels and book trailers using AI-powered tools and platforms.

The role involves leveraging AI video generation technologies to produce visually appealing and impactful content that aligns with our authors branding and storytelling objectives. Daily tasks include planning, production, and post-production processes, along with color grading and motion graphics to ensure quality and cohesion.

The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative team to develop compelling video narratives for books and campaigns. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines will be essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing
• Strong expertise in AI video generation tools and platforms (e.g., RunwayML, Synthesia, D-ID, Pictory, Lumen5, or similar)
• Experience creating long-form video content such as reels, book trailers, promotional videos, and social media content using AI
• Expertise in Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics
• Experience with Graphics and design tools
• Strong creative and storytelling skills
• Ability to work on tight schedules and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with industry-standard video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Experience in social media video editing or book/author marketing is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Design, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred
