Overview

We are looking for a Video Editor (2-5 years experience) who can go beyond basic editing and think like a content creator. The role involves creating high-performing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos in the personal finance space.This is not just an editing role — we want someone who understands hooks, retention, and what makes content go viral.

Key Responsibilities

1. Short-form Content

• Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Create strong hooks
• Use fast cuts, pattern interrupts, and engaging visuals
• Add subtitles with emphasis styling
• Integrate memes, trends, and motion graphics
• Adapt trending formats to finance content

2. Long-form & Podcast Editing

• Edit YouTube videos
• Edit podcasts into:
• Full-length episodes
• Multiple short clips
• Add jump cuts, zooms, B-roll, and visual storytelling elements
• Improve viewer retention through pacing and structure

3. Creative Contribution

• Bring references from viral content and industry trends
• Contribute to storytelling and overall content direction

Fintech Content Understanding (Preferred)

Additional Details

• Term: 3 Months (with the possibility of fulltime based on performance and business requirements).
