The Role
We're hiring a Video Editor (Fresher/Junior) to work across podcasts and short-form digital content.
Your primary focus will be:
- Editing podcast episodes (video format)
- Creating high-performing short-form clips from those podcasts
If you enjoy turning raw conversations into clean, sharp podcast edits and then slicing them into engaging Shorts/Reels this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Edit full-length video podcasts (clean cuts, audio sync, framing, pacing)
- Extract and edit high-impact short clips (3090 seconds) from podcast episodes
- Add captions, hooks, dynamic cuts, zooms, and retention-focused edits
- Optimize content for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn
- Maintain a consistent editing style and publishing cadence
- Work closely with the founders/team to identify strong moments from recordings
Must Have
- Strong basics in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut, etc.)
- Understanding of short-form content structure (hooks, pacing, retention)
- Good sense of storytelling and conversational flow
- Ability to clean audio (basic noise reduction, leveling)
- Ownership mindset and ability to work on fast timelines
Nice to Have
- Experience editing podcasts
- Motion graphics / animated captions
- Thumbnail editing
- Understanding of YouTube optimization
- Interest in startup/entrepreneurship content
Experience Level
02 years (Freshers welcome)
We care more about editing quality, energy, and learning speed than formal experience.
