Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Edit high-impact paid social videos (530 seconds) optimised for Meta and TikTok.
- Create multiple variations of each asset for A/B testing (hooks, captions, CTAs, pacing).
- Repurpose UGC, influencer content, testimonials and organic social into paid formats.
- Add motion graphics, subtitles, product callouts, overlays and brand elements.
- Build editable templates to enable rapid turnaround and scalable production.
Performance & Optimisation
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing team and Paid Social Agency to understand creative insights and results.
- Use performance data to inform creative decisions, improving thumb-stop rate and conversion.
- Deliver weekly batches of creative tests, iterations and refreshes.
Content Sourcing & Direction
- Proactively research and leverage tools such as Motion and Foreplay to analyse competitor ads, creative patterns, and emerging trends at scale.
- Support the production team in briefing creators, influencers and internal teams on required footage and talking points.
- Provide direction on hooks, angles, storyboards and ad formats proven to convert.
- Identify emerging trends across formats, hooks, narratives, pacing, and visual styles, and translate these into actionable creative direction.
- Build and maintain a strong external creative reference library to inform briefs, concepts, and testing roadmaps.
AI & Creative Scaling Tools
- Research, test, and implement AI-powered tools that support creative ideation, production, and iteration at volume.
- Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities where automation and AI can meaningfully increase creative output and learning velocity without compromising quality or brand standards.
Brand & Quality Control
- Ensure all paid creative is on-brand, high-quality and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Continuously explore new editing techniques, transitions, effects and performance-first visuals.
Ideal candidate profile
- 3+ years proven experience editing paid social assets for TikTok, Meta and PMax.
- Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar editing tools.
- Experience in using platforms such as Foreplay and Motion for ad performance metrics and competitor analysis.
- Strong storytelling skills with a conversion-first, performance-driven mindset.
- Confidence working with UGC, influencer content and raw mobile footage.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, basic animation and text overlays (desirable).
- A fast, agile and trend-obsessed approach to content creation.
- A creative but commercial mindset - balancing bold ideas with data and performance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to work in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment with rapid turnarounds.
- Genuine excitement for social-first content and creating ads that actually convert.
