Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor specialized in educational content who can transform raw lectures, scripts, and voiceovers into engaging, easy-to-understand learning videos. The ideal candidate should combine editing expertise with educational understanding, ensuring concepts are visually clear and student-friendly.

• Edit lectures, tutorials, and explainer videos with clear structure (Intro Concept Example Summary)
• Add motion graphics, diagrams, subtitles, and visual highlights for better understanding
• Sync voiceovers, clean audio, and maintain proper pacing for student engagement
• Optimize videos for platforms like YouTube, mobile apps, and LMS
• Maintain brand consistency (fonts, colors, templates)
• Ensure high-quality output with no visual/audio errors

• Proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and basic audio editing
• Strong understanding of student learning behavior and content simplification
• Creative storytelling, visual hierarchy, and attention to detail
• Experience with screen recordings, animations, and educational formats

• 1–5+ years of video editing experience (EdTech preferred)
• Portfolio showcasing educational or explainer videos
• Ability to work with scripts, subject experts, and voiceovers

• Knowledge of AI tools, YouTube engagement, and bulk video production
• Ability to convert complex topics into simple visual explanations
