Role Overview

We're seeking a Video Editor who understands brand, storytelling, and the nuances of financial content. One who can create high impact videos that reach the top 1% of India. The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, and excited to work in finance content. Leverages the possibilities of new AI tools in the editing and post-production workflow. You'll also work closely with the content, and design teams to craft engaging videos that educate and inspire our audience.

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Collaborate with writers, marketers, and designers to bring new IPs and content ideas to life.
• Maintain and enhance Dezerv's brand voice and visual identity across video formats.
• Explore and integrate new AI-powered tools to enhance speed, quality, and creativity.
• Ensure high-quality output through colour grading, audio clean-up, motion graphics, and pacing.
• Stay updated with content trends, especially within finance, business, and education.
• Organise footage, maintain project files, and manage editing workflows efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• 23 years of experience in video editing (agency, brand, creator, or startup experience preferred).
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools (Premiere Pro/FCPX, After Effects, DaVinci, etc.).
• Create high-quality video content rather than generic content that reaches the top 1% of the country.
• Enhance storytelling with clean aesthetics and data visualisation through motion graphics.
• Genuine interest to create top tier financial content involving markets, money, business stories, investing.
• Curiosity about emerging AI tools and willingness to experiment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and iterate quickly.
• A portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form edits.
• Prior experience in a finance firm is a plus.
