About The Role
Seeking a Freelance Video Editor capable of delivering fast, accurate, and visually consistent work using both traditional editing tools and AI-driven workflows. The editor must independently manage projects, understand brand guidelines, and execute strong storytelling across various content formats for international brands and internal creative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and AI tools.
- Perform decent color grading and maintain brand alignment across all outputs.
- Use basic Adobe After Effects to enhance simple motion graphics or transitions.
- Manage projects end-to-end: briefing, conceptualization, editing, revisions, and delivery.
- Coordinate with designers, writers, and project stakeholders to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Keep up with new editing techniques, AI tools, and industry trends.
- Create motion graphics or simple animations when required.
- Join Mellow Films for on-site shoots when project requirements demand it.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Basic Adobe After Effects (advantage)
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Nano Banana (or equivalents)
- Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and brand consistency
- Decent knowledge of color grading
- Ability to handle multiple client projects independently with timely deliveries
