About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a passion for storytelling through visuals and sound. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a keen sense of colour, typography, composition, and design. This role blends technical expertise with artistic flair to produce high-impact, engaging promo videos optimised for various platforms.
This is a full-time role that requires dedication and flexibility. The right candidate will be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative spirit and meeting strict deadlines during regular working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Craft visually compelling promo videos that drive audience engagement and conversion across social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
- Asset Management: Efficiently organise and update video and Ad assets to ensure a streamlined workflow.
- Motion Graphics & Effects: Integrate animations, motion graphics, and effects to enhance the storytelling experience.
- Colour Grading: Apply consistent and visually appealing color grading techniques to ensure a cohesive visual tone across projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, including Writers, Animators, and AI Artists, to align video content with campaign objectives.
- Platform-Specific Optimization: Tailor video content for different platforms to maximise impact and engagement.
- Sound Design: Incorporate sound elements seamlessly to complement visual storytelling.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Familiarity with sound design tools is a plus.
- Creative Skills: Strong understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and design principles in video production.
- Motion Graphics: Experience with motion graphics to elevate video content.
- Storytelling: A creative mindset with an ability to craft engaging narratives using visuals and sound.
- Advertising Experience: Prior experience in creating direct response or performance-based advertising content is highly desirable.
- Platform Expertise: Proven track record of producing optimized content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, TikTok).
- Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, full-time role.
- Language Proficiency: Should be well versed in conversational Tamil.

Selection Process:
- Assignment Submission: Shortlisted candidates will complete a video editing task, and selections will be based on the quality of their work.
- Interview: Successful candidates will have an interview with our Lead Motion Designer to assess technical and creative skills.
- Live Assignment: Finalists will complete a live editing task to showcase their real-time workflow and problem-solving abilities.
