Role Description

This full-time position, based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will play a key role in shaping The Red & Bold Showa fan-led sports content platform focused on high-energy, insight-driven cricket content.

The role involves editing and assembling fast-paced match breakdowns, previews, reactions, and fan-first narratives that capture the emotion and intensity of the game. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating closely with the creative team, selecting and cutting raw footage, adding dynamic effects, sound design, and ensuring each video delivers on both storytelling and engagement.

The ideal candidate understands the rhythm of sports contentknowing when to build tension, when to amplify moments, and how to keep viewers hooked throughout. You will be expected to contribute creatively to formats, pacing, and visual styles while working across multiple pieces of content with quick turnaround times, ensuring everything aligns with the voice and vision of the show.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Knowledge of video production processes, including sound design, color grading, and visual effects
• Strong skills in storytelling, pacing, and understanding of audience engagement
• Creative ability to conceptualize and execute visual styles and narratives
• Familiarity with motion graphics tools, such as Adobe After Effects, is a plus
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished and professional content
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Visual Arts, Communication, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in content for branding, advertising, or social media campaigns is highly desirable
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
