Role Overview
Cyboard School is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in video editing, photography, video production, and content creation, along with a strong understanding of social media trends and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content for Instagram, YouTube, Reels, digital campaigns, advertisements, and brand communication.
- Independently handle video shoots, including camera setup, framing, lighting, audio, and basic production requirements.
- Conduct professional photoshoots for social media, campaigns, events, products, and other marketing requirements.
- Edit engaging videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing tools.
- Perform photo editing and retouching using Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent software.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to convert campaign ideas into compelling visual content.
- Maintain brand consistency while bringing creativity and innovation to every project.
- Stay updated with the latest Instagram, YouTube, Reels, and digital content trends.
- Manage multiple editing and shooting projects while ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate end-to-end production requirements, including shoot planning, locations, equipment, lighting, and basic set requirements.
- Ensure high standards of visual quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in video editing, photography, content creation, or a similar creative role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with video and photography equipment.
- Good understanding of camera operation, lighting, framing, composition, and audio.
- Strong creative thinking and visual storytelling skills.
- Good understanding of social media content and current digital trends.
- Ability to manage projects from concept → shoot → edit → final delivery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with marketing and creative teams.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
