Syncopated Marketing is a fast-growing email marketing agency helping e-commerce brands increase revenue through smart email strategies.

We are now starting to build our own online presence to share ideas, insights, and behind-the-scenes moments from our work with e-commerce brands. Our goal is to create engaging, high-quality content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube that reflects the personality and thinking behind our agency.

To make this happen, we're looking for a Video Editor who can also help shoot content and bring creative ideas to life.

Role Overview

This is not just an editing job.

You'll work closely with our Social Media Manager to shoot and edit engaging video content that builds Syncopated.co's online presence. From quick LinkedIn clips to polished YouTube videos, your work will help shape how our brand shows up online.

If you enjoy creating content, experimenting with edits, and turning simple ideas into engaging videos, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Assist in shooting video content for social media (talking head videos, office clips, behind-the-scenes, etc.)

Edit short-form and long-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube

Work closely with the Social Media Manager to bring content ideas and scripts to life

Create engaging edits with captions, transitions, graphics, and sound design

Adapt editing styles based on the platform (Reels-style edits, professional LinkedIn cuts, YouTube storytelling)

Organize footage and maintain a smooth content workflow

Stay updated with social media video trends and formats

Requirements

Experience editing social media videos (portfolio required)

Familiarity with tools like DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar

Basic understanding of shooting video using cameras or smartphones

Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and storytelling for social media

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Interest in content creation and social media trends
