About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in video editing, visual storytelling and content creation, with a sharp eye for detail and an understanding of current digital and social media trends.

The candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, editing and delivering high-quality video content across multiple formats and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for digital, social media, corporate and brand communication requirements.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, visually compelling and platform-ready content.
• Work closely with creative, content and account teams to understand briefs and deliver videos aligned with client objectives.
• Handle the complete post-production process, including editing, colour correction, sound mixing, transitions, graphics and basic animation.
• Create short-form content such as Reels, Shorts and social media videos, as well as longer-format videos wherever required.
• Add appropriate music, sound effects, subtitles, motion graphics and other visual elements to enhance the overall output.
• Ensure videos are optimised for different platforms, aspect ratios and formats.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers and content teams during production and post-production.
• Maintain consistency in visual quality, brand guidelines and storytelling across all projects.
• Stay updated with the latest video-editing techniques, social media trends and content formats.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Organise and maintain video files, project assets and editing libraries efficiently.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
• Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and/or DaVinci Resolve will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, transitions, colour grading and sound design.
• Ability to work with different video formats and aspect ratios.
• Good understanding of social media content trends and formats.
• Strong creative sense with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and translate ideas into engaging visual content.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects and meet deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in video editing and content production.
• Prior experience in an agency, media, production house, digital or communications environment will be preferred.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating diverse editing capabilities will be preferred.
• A creative, proactive and detail-oriented professional who can work in a fast-paced environment.
