We're looking for a passionate Videographer cum Video Editor who can bring stories to life through the lens and transform raw footage into compelling visual content.
Job Summary
The role requires a versatile professional with both videography and editing expertise. You will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing videos that align with brand identity and client objectives. From pre-production concepts to post-production polish, you will handle the full spectrum of visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, storyboard, and plan video content in line with project requirements.
- Capture high-quality video using cinema/DSLR cameras, mobile devices, gimbals, stabilizers, microphones, and lighting equipment.
- Set up and manage shoots, ensuring optimal framing, lighting, and sound.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging videos with a strong storytelling flow.
- Add sound effects, background music, graphics, motion elements, and animations.
- Perform professional-level color grading, transitions, and visual effects.
- Create reels, short-form videos, and platform-specific content (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Collaborate with the creative team to align visuals with campaign goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate fresh, innovative ideas into projects.
Requirements
- Strong conceptual and visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in camera operations (cinema, DSLR, mobile).
- Familiarity with gimbals, stabilizers, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Hands-on experience with editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of motion graphics and audio editing (Adobe Audition or equivalent).
- Keen eye for detail, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a creative team.
- Freshers with a strong creative spark and willingness to learn are welcome; prior experience is a plus.
