About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can bring ideas to life through engaging, high-quality video content. The role primarily involves editing content for influencer campaigns across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos, ensuring content is aligned with brand guidelines and platform trends.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos for influencer campaigns
- Work on short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, brand films) content
- Add transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and background music
- Ensure content is visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for each platform
2. Platform Optimization
- Edit videos according to platform-specific best practices (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Ensure correct aspect ratios, pacing, hooks, and retention-focused editing styles
- Stay updated with trending formats, transitions, and viral editing styles
3. Collaboration with Teams
- Work closely with the Creative/Strategy, Campaign Management, and Talent teams
- Collaborate with influencers and internal stakeholders to understand editing requirements
- Incorporate feedback from clients and internal teams quickly and efficiently
4. Content Quality & Consistency
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, style, and visual identity across videos
- Ensure timely delivery of all edits while maintaining high quality standards
- Review and refine edits based on performance insights and feedback
5. Asset Management
- Organize and manage video assets, raw footage, and project files
- Maintain proper file naming conventions and version control
- Build a library of templates, presets, and reusable assets
6. Trend & Innovation
- Keep up with the latest editing trends, tools, and formats in influencer marketing
- Suggest creative edits, formats, and enhancements to improve engagement
- Experiment with new styles like memes, fast cuts, subtitles, and storytelling formats
Key Requirements
- 14 years of experience in video editing (preferably in influencer marketing, social media, or digital agencies)
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of social media content formats and trends
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively
Preferred Skills
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills
- Experience editing for influencers or content creators
- Understanding of sound design and color grading
- Familiarity with AI editing tools and automation workflows
- Knowledge of meme culture and viral content formats
