Job Summary
The Video Editor is responsible for creating high-quality video content for marketing, branding, social media, and internal communications. The role involves editing raw footage, adding visual effects, and producing engaging videos that align with the organizations requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, professional-quality videos.
- Add transitions, text overlays, subtitles, and background music.
- Create social media reels, event videos, promotional videos, and corporate videos.
- Perform color correction, audio balancing, and noise reduction.
- Collaborate with the media and marketing team to understand content needs.
- Maintain and organize video files, project folders, and backups.
- Ensure all videos follow brand guidelines and meet timelines.
Software Skills Required
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- Adobe After Effects (basic to advanced)
- Photoshop (for thumbnail/poster editing)
- DaVinci Resolve (optional)
Eligibility & Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Media, Visual Communication, Film Editing, or related field.
- 1-3 years experience in video editing (freshers with strong skills also considered).
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Basic videography skills (camera handling, lighting).
- Experience in social media content creation.
