About the Role
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and promotional content.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing team, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver creative outputs
- Add visual effects, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity
- Create short-form content (Reels, Shorts) and long-form videos (interviews, event coverage, promotional films)
- Manage and organize video assets, footage, and editing files efficiently
- Work on color correction, sound editing, and final output optimization for different platforms
- Meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Stay updated with latest video editing trends, tools, and social media content formats
- Support live event coverage and post-production requirements
Required Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong understanding of video production processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with motion graphics and animation
- Knowledge of sound design and audio editing
