Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor who lives and breathes personal branding content — someone who understands how to make a real person look compelling on camera, not just cut clips together.

About Us:

We are a personal branding PR agency based in Ahmedabad, helping professionals, entrepreneurs, and public figures build their presence on Instagram and YouTube through high-quality short-form video content. We shoot, edit, and publish 13–15 reels per client every month.

Gujurati Language Requirement:

Gujarati language editing is mandatory for this role. Most of our clients create content in Gujarati for their local audience. You must be able to add accurate Gujarati subtitles, style Gujarati text overlays natively, and edit content that sounds and feels natural to a Gujarati-speaking viewer. Candidates who cannot work with Gujarati language content will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit 13–15 Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts per assigned client every month

2. Work with raw Sony FX3 footage — colour grading, audio sync, caption styling

3. Add accurate Gujarati subtitles and text overlays for Gujarati-language reels — this is a core requirement for this role

4. Ensure Gujarati font rendering is clean, readable, and stylistically consistent with the client's brand on every edit

5. Create scroll-stopping hooks in the first 2–3 seconds of every reel

6. Maintain each client's distinct visual identity, tone, and on-screen personality

7. Add dynamic subtitles, transitions, and music that feel native to Instagram — not like an ad

8. Deliver exports in 9:16 (Reels) and 16:9 (YouTube) format from the same edit

9. Collaborate with the Creative Director and scriptwriter on visual execution of scripts

10. Revise edits based on client feedback within 24 hours

11. Stay updated with trending reel formats, hooks, and editing styles every week

Must Have:

* Portfolio of personal branding reels — real people talking to camera, not product ads or general corporate videos

* Ability to read, write, and work fluently with Gujarati language text in video editing software — mandatory

* Experience adding Gujarati subtitles and text overlays with correct font and character rendering in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

* Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro (both preferred)

* Strong understanding of vertical video composition and Instagram native aesthetics

* Experience with subtitle styling, colour grading for skin tones, and ambient audio mixing

* Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously without losing individual style

Good to Have:

* Experience editing Gujarati-language podcast, interview, or creator content

* Experience editing content for coaches, speakers, founders, or public figures

* CapCut familiarity for quick turnarounds

* Basic motion graphics (After Effects or Premiere titles)

* Awareness of trending audio and formats on Instagram Reels

Important — We are NOT looking for:

✗ Editors whose portfolio is primarily ad films, product commercials, or brand TVCs

✗ Editors who cannot work with Gujarati language text and subtitles

✗ General editors who have never worked on talking-head personal brand content

✗ Editors who rely only on templates — we need original storytelling cuts
