Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the entire video production process: brainstorming, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and re-
editing videos for various formats.
- Add graphics, subtitles, music, voiceovers, transitions, and special effects to enhance video quality.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends.
- Understand and interpret creative briefs to bring concepts to life.
- Research industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor content to ensure videos are fresh, engaging,
and impactful.
- Maintain organized project files, backups, and versioning workflows.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong Video Editor (D2C Brand / Wellness / Social Media Content) profiles
- Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience as a Video Editor, creating engaging digital content for social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have experience handling the complete video production lifecycle including brainstorming, storyboarding, shooting coordination, editing, re-editing, and final delivery of video content.
- Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have worked on short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, performance marketing ads, influencer videos, product videos, lifestyle content, and brand campaigns.
- Mandatory (Skill 1): Strong proficiency in at least one or more editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Filmora.
- Mandatory (Skill 2): Must have experience adding subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, music, voiceovers, visual effects, and other enhancements to improve content quality and engagement.
- Mandatory (Skill 3): Strong understanding of social media content trends, audience engagement patterns, viral content formats, and platform-specific editing styles.
- Mandatory (Portfolio): Must share a portfolio/showreel containing at least 3-5 edited videos showcasing: Social media reels/shorts, Product or brand videos, Motion graphics/transitions, Storytelling and editing creativity
- Preferred (Domain): Experience working with D2C brands, wellness, healthcare, nutrition, fitness, beauty, skincare, FMCG, consumer brands, or digital-first startups.
