Video Editor to support our growing portfolio of digital brands and clients. This role is focused on creating high-impact, fast-paced video content optimized for Instagram Reels and other short-form social platforms. The Video Editor will work closely with design, marketing, and content teams to deliver engaging, trend-driven video assets that drive reach, engagement, and brand recall.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing Content Creation
- Edit short-form videos primarily for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms
- Create high-speed, dynamic edits with strong hooks in the first 2 to 3 seconds
- Apply transitions, motion effects, text animations, sound effects, and beat-sync edits aligned with current social media trends
- Repurpose long-form content into short, performance-driven clips
Creative Execution
- Translate briefs, scripts, and raw footage into compelling visual stories
- Maintain brand consistency across multiple clients and internal brands
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content strategists for integrated visual storytelling
- Suggest creative improvements, reel formats, and editing styles based on platform trends
Tools Technical Skills
- Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Filmora, and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Use Adobe graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (basic to intermediate) for thumbnails, overlays, and motion elements
- Optimize video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for social media platforms
- Manage file organization, exports, and version control efficiently
Platform Optimization
- Stay updated with Instagram editing trends, reel styles, transitions, fonts, and viral formats
- Understand pacing, retention tactics, and visual hooks used by top Instagram video editors
- Optimize videos for engagement metrics such as watch time, saves, and shares
Required Skills Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in social media or digital marketing
- Strong proficiency in CapCut, Filmora, and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels editing styles and short-form content behavior
- Ability to work on tight timelines and manage multiple edits per day
- Strong attention to detail, pacing, and audio-visual synchronization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience editing for brands, influencers, or agencies
- Familiarity with motion graphics and basic After Effects workflows
- Awareness of trending audio, meme formats, and viral content patterns
- Passion for social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour break within working hours.
Every alternate Saturday will be a holiday.
Mandatory attendance is required for the daily standup meeting.
Work Location
This is a
Work From Home role. Candidates must ensure reliable internet connectivity and availability during working hours.

The Video Editor is required to maintain strict confidentiality of all company, client, and proprietary creative materials during and after employment.
