Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor who understands not just how content looks but how it performs.
In this role, you will edit high-performing video content that drives engagement, retention, and conversions across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and paid ads.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, Ads) and long-form content (YouTube)
- Optimize videos for platform-specific performance (watch time, retention, engagement)
- Add subtitles, hooks, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance viewer experience
- Perform color grading and audio balancing for professional output
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align content with campaign goals
- Use AI tools and automation to improve editing efficiency and turnaround time
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and quality standards
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in video editing (agency or content-driven environment preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention
- Experience in editing for social media and performance marketing
- Basic graphic design skills for video elements (text overlays, creatives)
- High attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools is a plus
- Mandatory: A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing work (short-form and/or long-form)
