Video Editor – Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing recorded footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand and communication goals. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Trim, sequence, and enhance video content using professional editing tools
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions to improve viewer engagement
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand project requirements
- Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and quality standards
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, formats, durations)
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and techniques
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Strong understanding of video formats
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in related field
- Experience in editing social media content, reels, and short-form videos
- Familiarity with color grading and audio editing
