Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 2+ years of experience to produce engaging and high-quality video content. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, along with hands-on experience using industry-standard editing tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for digital platforms (social media, websites, ads, etc.)
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and designers to understand project requirements
- Trim footage, add music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling goals
- Handle color correction, audio balancing, and basic motion graphics
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Stay updated with video trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific formats
- Organize and maintain video assets and project files
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects (or similar)
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings
- Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and transitions
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills
- Good sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience editing for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or ads
- Understanding of SEO and video optimization (for digital platforms)
