Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and imaginativeVideo Editorwho can transform raw footage into compelling visual stories across various platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, creative instincts, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos for social media, corporate presentations, advertisements, and digital platforms.
- Perform professional color correction and advanced color grading to maintain visual consistency.
- Add text overlays, titles, captions, transitions, and motion elements as required.
- Handle sound design tasks including audio cleanup, music selection, syncing, and sound effects.
- Ensure smooth pacing, seamless transitions, and strong storytelling throughout edits.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, videographers, and production teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Optimize video formats and resolutions for different platforms.
- Maintain organized project files and version control.
- Review and revise edits based on feedback from clients or internal teams.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual identity across all outputs.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Assist in developing creative concepts and editing styles for new projects.
- Troubleshoot technical or rendering issues when required.
- Uphold high standards of quality and attention to detail in all deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Strong understanding of visual flow, pacing, and storytelling principles.
- Proficiency in:DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects
- Solid knowledge of color grading techniques and cinematic looks.
- Good understanding of sound design and audio balancing.
- High attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence.
- Ability to work full-time from the Ernakulam office.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international clients or brands.
- Basic knowledge of animation or motion graphics.
- Familiarity with social media content formats and trends.
