Role Description The Video Editor role at Aekcam Digital is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage from product shoots, corporate shoots, reels, and event coverage into polished, engaging videos aligned with brand guidelines. Responsibilities include cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, performing basic and advanced color correction, and integrating audio elements such as music and voiceovers. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative and social media teams to develop content for reels, social posts, and campaigns, ensuring consistency in style and storytelling. The role also involves preparing different formats for various platforms, managing project files, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience turning raw footage into compelling visual stories.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel across projects.
• Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics to support social media content, reels, and brand assets.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Understanding of social media formats, trends, and best practices for short-form and long-form video content.
• Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with photographers, designers, and social media strategists on-site in Ahmedabad.
• Relevant education in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in professional video editing.
