We're looking for a sharp, social-savvy
Video Editor who knows how to make content stand out with the right cuts, pacing, and creative flair. You'll transform ideas into videos that feel fresh, engaging, and tailor-made for digital audiences. From snappy Instagram edits to episodic YouTube content and campaign-driven videos, you'll have the skills to craft work that hooks viewers in the first few seconds and keeps them watching.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Creative Cuts, dynamic pacing, and B-rolls that keep content engaging.
- Design and Animate Assets with motion design principles to elevate storytelling.
- Perform Rotoscoping and Motion Tracking to seamlessly integrate assets into live footage.
- Execute Background Replacements for clean, professional outputs.
- Deliver impactful Typography and Kinetic Text animations to emphasize key ideas.
- Enhance edits with the right SFX and music for polished, immersive experiences.
- Edit across formats ad campaigns, podcasts, micro-content, episodic series adapting style to suit the platform (Instagram, YouTube etc.).
- Ensure smooth transitions, crisp audio, and scroll-stopping visuals while staying true to brand tone and narrative flow.
- Optimize content for different aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and platform-specific formats.
- Apply basic color grading and correction for visual consistency and polish.
- Keep up with trending edits, transitions, and formats that resonate on social.
Requirements
- Proficiency in editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong grasp of motion graphics, visual storytelling, and social-first editing.
- Sharp understanding of storytelling for short attention spans knowing how to hook in the first 35 seconds.
- Strong eye for detail, pacing, composition, and color.
- Familiarity with platform-native editing styles (jump cuts, split screens, meme edits, etc.).
- Proficiency with AI-enabled editing tools like CapCut, Veed, or Descript to streamline workflows and create platform-native content.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a fast-moving, creative environment.
- A portfolio showcasing versatility in editing styles, motion graphics, and digital-first content.
Bonus Points if you have
- Experience creating episodic content or series formats (especially for YouTube or social creators).
- Experience with automotive content
- Background in branded content or ad campaigns.
- Familiarity with podcast editing or multi-cam workflows.
- Understanding of how analytics and audience retention tie back to editing choices.
- Light skills in 2D/3D animation for extra polish.
