Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to transform raw footage into high-impact visual stories. You will be responsible for the final polish of our brand's identity, ensuring every second of video is optimized for viewer retention, platform algorithms, and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Editing: Assemble raw footage into high-quality videos for YouTube (long-form), Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
2. Post-Production Magic: Enhance storytelling by adding appropriate music, sound design (SFX), motion graphics, and transitions.
3. Brand Alignment: Maintain a consistent visual language across all projects, ensuring color grades and typography align with brand guidelines.
4. Asset Management: Maintain a structured library of raw footage, project files, and b-roll for future scalability.
5. Trend Adaptation: Proactively implement new editing styles (e.g., fast-paced Alex Hormozi style captions or cinematic storytelling) based on current digital trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Platform Specialist: Proven experience editing specifically for YouTube Shorts and Reels (vertical video optimisation).
2. Creative Eye: Ability to select the right B-roll and stock assets to enhance narrative depth.
3. Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines without sacrificing detail.
