About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editing Intern to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about video content creation, storytelling, and digital media. You will work closely with the creative and production teams to assist in planning, filming, and editing engaging video content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, filming, and producing video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Support pre-production activities such as setting up equipment, organizing props, managing shoot schedules, and coordinating resources.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
- Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and basic motion elements as required.
- Ensure proper file management by organizing and maintaining video assets for easy retrieval and storage.
- Stay updated on video production trends, editing techniques, and new tools/software to continuously improve output quality.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Basic understanding of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Familiarity with social media video formats and trends.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio or sample work showcasing editing skills.
