We are looking for a creative and motivated Video Editing Intern who has a keen eye for storytelling through visuals and sound. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing, content, and creative teams to produce engaging video content across digital and social platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, campaigns, and internal use
- Add transitions, effects, captions, and music to enhance video quality
- Create short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with brand guidelines
- Assist in shooting and directing video content when required
- Organize and manage video assets, footage libraries, and project files
- Support the team with basic motion graphics and animated elements
Required skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and effects
- Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for different platforms
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
- Familiarity with colour grading and audio mixing basics
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
Eligibility:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field
- Portfolio or showreel showcasing edited video work (academic or personal projects are accepted)
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for thumbnail and graphic creation
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading
- Familiarity with shooting equipment and basic cinematography
- Understanding of YouTube/Instagram content strategy and trends
- Experience working on live brand or client projects
