Role Overview
We're looking for a passionate, fast-learning Video Editor Intern to help bring the Deckoviz story to life across platforms. You'll be crafting snappy, aesthetic, and emotionally engaging contentfrom short-form reels to product explainers, mood-based ambience videos, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, web, and campaigns.
- Work with existing visual assets and raw footage to create dynamic edits.
- Add music, motion graphics, text, and effects to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams.
- Contribute to mood videos, product demos, feature explainers, and user stories.
- Stay on top of editing trends and formats for Instagram, YouTube, etc.
- Deliver assets in required formats, on deadline.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong eye for pacing, transitions, rhythm, and aesthetic sensibility.
- Understanding of storytelling, branding, and mood setting.
- Familiarity with social-first formats (Reels, Shorts, Stories).
- Basic motion graphics skills are a plus.
- Love for design, art, visual storytelling, or ambient visuals is a bonus.
- Must be self-driven, organized, and receptive to feedback.
- Portfolio/reel showcasing relevant work is mandatory.
