Role Overview:
The Video Editor Intern will support the marketing team in creating engaging and high-quality video content for digital platforms. This role involves editing, optimizing, and conceptualizing videos that enhance brand storytelling and drive audience engagement across social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Assist in creating reels, short-form videos, and long-form content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and visual enhancements to improve video quality.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign concepts and content ideas.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, formats, trends).
- Manage raw footage, organize assets, and maintain editing workflows.
- Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats.
- Assist in basic video shoots and handle camera operations when required.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic understanding of camera handling, framing, and shooting techniques.
- Strong creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Understanding of editing styles for Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, and other digital platforms.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color correction is a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
