Vice Principal

Key Responsibilities:

School Design (30% Focus)

• Design the student week, unit, and year, aligning with the school vision, context, and available resources
• Oversee school operations, including facility management, data recording, submission, and government permissions (in collaboration with the Network Team)
• Collaborate with the Principal to create and sustain a high-performing, nurturing staff and student culture
• Monitor all aspects of the school's day-to-day functioning to drive progress toward the school vision and achieve better results each year

Team Management (40% Focus)

• Build strong relationships with each staff member, co-create ambitious year-end goals for them
• Coach 10+ staff members across various aspects of their work (design, execution, and reflection)
• Regularly review staff progress and provide feedback to improve performance each quarter
• Lead efforts to define and maintain a high-performing staff culture through regular norming meetings
• Collaborate with HR to ensure staff career growth and retention, focusing on win-win outcomes for all

Program Partner Coordination (30% Focus)

• Identify, vet, and partner with 5+ program partners (e.g., football coaches, ed-tech providers, etc.) who support the school's mission throughout the year
• Manage volunteers to provide additional support to staff, such as teaching assistants
